Karen's Story
COACH BECKY’S CLIENT OF 2020 Meet Karen Karen joined T12 in Nov 2018, 4 months after giving birth to her second child, she decided it was time to devote some of her spare time, in between working full time and being a mum to 2 young boys, on taking care of herself and that is exactly what she has done. Karen’s initial goal was to lose weight, this was our primary focus of 2019. Karen implemented better habits and made smarter choices within her lifestyle to not only achieve this goal but too maintain it as-well. At the start 2020 we sat down and discussed Karen’s goal’s for this year, this is when she decided that she wanted to focus more on her fitness and performance, as well as continuing on her weight loss journey. This is when we switched up her training involving a broad base of strength, power, conditioning and endurance. We have been carrying out regular fitness tests throughout the year to track Karen’s progress and even when lockdown hit us Karen was determined to carry on regardless. Karen’s progress this past year has literally blown me away, going from struggling to run 400m to running at ease for 7 minute KM’s, hitting PB’s regularly in the gym and improving performance on the netball court! This has being an incredible journey so far and I’m proud I’m able to be apart of it. Not only has Karen’s determination and willing to increase her fitness and performance amazed me but to maintain her weight loss long term is an absolute achievement in itself. STATS… Weight Loss – 3st 3lbs Total Inch Loss – 16″ This is what Karen had to say. “ it’s hard to put into words how much I have learnt from you about how to loose weight and keep it off.
